Blankets woven with 2 needles with Patagonian wool, by weavers from Pilar part, Province of Buenos Aires
This work was carried out in partnership with Sahdes, an organisation that promotes the integral development of mothers and children in situations of social vulnerability, in the City of Buenos Aires and surroundings.
The women who knitted these blankets learnt the trade in weaving workshops and are currently forming a clothing and deco enterprise.
Blankets woven in looms with hand-spun llama fibre, by craftswomen from Puna Argentina.
This work helps them to maintain their culture, raise their children rooted to their land and enhance their ancestral knowledge.

We produce these blankets with pure merino wool for the Undersecretary of Tourism of the Province of Buenos Aires, knitted by women from the rural location of Azul.
Together with the support of the Asociación Civil Azul Solidario, this work was the result of a real synergy between the public, private and the so-called tertiary sector, in support of the improvement of life’s quality and comprehensive development in the rural areas of Azul.
